Blue Water Classic

The Women’s Shelly Beach Blue Water Classic was held Monday 5th August on a beautiful sunny winters day. The course was perfectly manicured with slick greens and no wind to contend with. 32 visitors joined 55 local players in this prestigious event which has been running many decades now.

The Division 1 Blue Water Classic was won by 15 year old Kiara Connolly-Jackson from Kooindah GCC with a 3 over par 78 off the stick. Congratulations to Kiara who also won the Greg Chalmers Junior Girls Masters a few weeks previously.

The Div 2 Blue Water Bowl was won by Gay Bryant from Shelly Beach with a great score of 95 gross and the Div 3 Long Markers Cup was won by Peta Seargeant also from Shelly Beach with an impressive score of 40 points.

Club Professional Peter Cliff conducted the Presentation and prizes were awarded as follows:
